I purchased this DVD after looking on youtube for tips on ways to better use my DR-880. I ran across an excerpt from the tutorial and decided to give it a go. Mr. Wills does a fantastic job showing you how to make it work. His relaxed manner and thorough teaching make using it so much easier than wading through the manual. It is always better to have someone "show you" something rather than deciphering text. If you want to get the most out of your drum machine, I recommend these DVDs. It's like having a teacher right there in the room that you can pause any time you like! A+

I still had too many unanswered questions.
which i seemed to figure out on my own..
like step by step process to actually making a chord progression for a song....and what's the purpose of the preset patterns.....and can I edit a 'song' that's already been finished.??

I purchased the Tascam 2488-MKII- Neo and the Boss DR 880 DVD's and I have to
tell you this is the best money I've spent in a long time. The host, David Wills did an
outstanding job in explaining all the functions of these units. It was as
though I had one on one training. I was hesitant at first but I was so sick
of going through dry reads of manuals I thought I'd give these a try and
man I'm so glad I did. I was operating the units with confidence in a very
short period of time. I of course have the DVD's so I can go back at
anytime for any questions I might have.
Thank you so much for your great
customer service also. It's refreshing to find a seller that gets the
product in the customers hand ASAP.

killer combination!!!!
