You must have both the dvd and the book to recorded on the complex And great sounding 2488 . Dave does a GREAT job explaning the ins and out of this great tascam recorder . The manual on this recorder is very heavy and somewhat hard to understand if you're a first time recording artist. When I recieved your DVD on the Tutorial, it was very easy to follow and it took me less the 2 hours to do the things I wanted to do, compared to 1 month trying to understand the manual. This is great job on this DVD Tutorial. I will definitely use your services on other equipment.

Tascam Neo DVD Tutorial |

DVD provides concise information to get one up and running on the Tascam 2488 machines. The bulk of the DVD concerns operations for the original 2488, that are identical in all three machines, and provides additional videos that discuss the changes in the next two generations, the MKII, and the Neo. There is a whole section in the DVD that discusses the tone generator that was included in the original 2488, but was discarded in the MKII and the Neo versions.

Today I received the DVD. I watched it and I'm pretty happy. I hope to be able to use for my recording. I recorded with classical choir, but not in church, singing without instrumental accompaniment. First, four men, then eight, and in a mixed choir. Each time the forthen singing. I have four AKG Perception 170 microphones, two AKG C4000 B microphones and two Senhaiser me64 k6 series. I would ask you for advice how to record channel and how to set up microphones. Pretty please reply. Thank you very much. Roman Mrzlikar

I decided to upgrade to a Tascam 2488 Neo and ordered this dvd before I received the product. When I opened the box and set it up I was up and running with minimal effort thanks to previewing this DVD first! I thought Dave was so good I bought his Ultimate Home Recording DVD set as well. Absolutely Better than the rest!
