Great Tutorial |

To be honest, I never write reviews on items I purchase. I'm only doing this because it's one of the most valuable tools I've ever bought. David Wills did an excellent job with explaining and showing me everything I need to know about the Zoom H4N. The recorder can seem a little intimidating but David's dvd walked me through the device step by step and I'm extremely confident with this recorder now. I work in the Chicago media shooting stills and video and the info he presented on this dvd will help me on all future projects. Every H4N owner -- amateur or pro -- needs this dvd. Thanks David.

David is a very intuitive teacher and makes learning the functions and capabilities of this little unit fun. I am a newbie to recording and post recording production so this DVD really showed me how I could get started easily.

I recently purchased a Zoom H4n Handy Recorder. I found the owner's manual comprehensive, though somewhat dizzying. I fortunately found this site and ordered a DVD. I received emails regarding my order and shipment status and my DVD arrived promply in a few days.
David's DVD Tutorial is wonderfully informative and cohesive, in contrast to the rather intimidating owner's manual.
I've watched it several times and will refer to it many more. David's friendly presentation is flowing and I found myself exploring the product features along with the video. His demos of the product's recording techniques are very helpful.
I will utilize David's DVD Tutorial as a companion to the owner's manual.
I HIGHLY recommend David's Tutorial for anyone intimidated by owner's manuals and won't hesitate to purchase one again for any future gadgets purchased.

with any device there are owners manuals. they show you where the buttons are and what they do. the dvd shows the machine being used by someone who knows the ins and outs [literally] of the h4n. david wills shows recording techniques that are used with all equipment,but actually shows you how to accomplish these things with the h4n. reading about how something is done is informative but actually seeing someone, hands on, pointing out features capabilities and techniques is priceless. it can be viewed again anytime for those features you may not use as often and need to brush up on. seeing portions of the video on line actually helped me make my decision about what recorder i wanted to buy. i ordered the dvd when i ordered the h4n. its an invaluable resource and allows me to do things with this recorder that other people cannot do.......thank you david wills.
